Um....having some problems... Trying to use 2X Appserver with a view to later trying out VDI server as can't afford Citrix. I Installed AppServer on a 2K8 server setup as a licencing server AND a terminal server but with no apps installed other than those built in. Added two other TS boxes and elected to install the TS agent via the console. Result was successful but subsequent configuration of the box caused the TS agents to report as needing updating/not responding. Manual updating of the agent was reported successful but it kept occurring. Gave up for a while, removed all 2X components and setup as follows... Built two virtual 2K3 TS boxes running off the 2K8 TS licensing server mentioned above, installed 2X Appserver on a standalone physical XP box, installed the agent via the console as above, published some apps and......all is well.....!!! Is it me or.......have searched for 2K8 issues and believed I set stuff up ok but would appreciate help in understanding what has gone wrong.
