Here is our scenario. We are publishing remote desktops for TS users both through thin clients and regular pc's. We have installed the 2x client on our TS servers with the intention of being able to display published applications on the users desktop and start menu according group membership rather then the user having access to all apps installed on the TS servers both for licensing and for ease of management. What I am finding though, is that when a user connects, the 2x client has no existing connection information. This means that each user requires a new connection created before they can gain access to published apps. In the past with Citrix we used the PNAgent and coded this into an ini file that was read on connection for each user and appropriately and automatically created a connection for them. Is this possible with the 2x client? I would rather not have to have the helpdesk staff create a new connection for each user the first time they connect to our farm. Hope this makes sense. Sorry. I ended up finding the answer this morning in the admin guide starting at around page 187 it gives the command switches to use with the 2xclient.msi file. it resolved the problem.
