Opening a published app on a Client with 3 Displays results in extreme drawing errors, showing parts of the app on different displays and parts of the remote desktop everywhere. Switching back to 2 Displays solves the Problem. I know this is a luxurious problem but it is a bug.
I actually believe it is a limitation of the the total max resolution in windows 2003. Windows 2008 r2 doesn't have this limitation. Here is a test, lower the resolution of your monitors and the problem goes away.
i can't follow your argumentation technically. you think that the 2x-client opens a remotesession in max resolution of the client displays. i'll try it next time i'am near the client.
Yes, I'm working on setting up a 2008 r2 server so I can confirm it is fixed on 2008. I recommend 2008 anyway simply because of the rdp enhancements.
Also, as a workaround you can set the client to open applications on primary monitor under Connection Properties. This will however limit the app to working on only one monitor.
