Hi, we have set up a testing environment with a 2X Application Server which should be used to publish applications from one Terminal Server to different users. As these users will be accessing the apps from the internet we have placed a server in the DMZ which is hosting the 2X Client gateway which allows tunneling of the webinterface and client connection over SSL to pass through firewalls and servers. The connection between the Proxy and the Web interface/publishing agent seems to work fine as the ressources can be accessed by clients via the 2x client gateway. However there are some clients where the installation of the 2x client succeeded (webinterface recognizes the correct version) but the client won't start when clicking on an application icon. The download of the definition file completes correctly but when executing it simply nothing happens. Any hints how to solve this problems? We are using Version 7.1. Thanks in advance! Cheers
I would try the native client on the machine to ensure that the client is installed correctly. Then the web just needs correct file association and mime type settings so that it opens.
