    Hi

I am pretty much there learning 2X for what I need to deploy but I am baffled by the colour depth settings.

    I am running 2X Application Server 11.1848 on Windows Server 2008 R2.

If I connect to the RDS server via RDP or the HTML5 Gateway then I get the colours I expect, however through the Windows Client I get a very washed colour scheme.

I have followed the advice in this forum post http://www.2x.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=28267

However making these changes did nothing, I specifically changed the Gateway to optimise all connections and set colour depth to Highest quality. I also tried using Direct Connection but this still gave terrible quality.

How can I get the user experience up to a decent level?

    Cheers

    Hi again

I did some more testing and this seems to be due to my screen resolution of Dual 1920x1200 monitors, this I understand as the higher I guess there is a limit on how much memory the server will allocate to graphics and if it starts to exceed that then either colour or resolution are degraded.

What would be useful is for some detail around how this works and if it can be tweaked? What is the memory limit and at what resolutions does colour start to be downgraded? Can we tweak the memory allocation?

Is there any documentation on this?

    Cheers in advance..
