2XApplicationServer - Launcb Windows APP - issues

Hello,

We have installed your 2XapplicationServer successfully.

When we try to launch from 2X client for instance a WordPad application, the RDP opens successfully but the WordPad doesn't start , we can see only the desktop.

How to solve this?

Kindly make sure that application is not being published from windows sobs,vista,xp or 7 also try to click on memshell.exe located in System32 folder and make sure user have full rights on this file.

I'm new to 2X having come via Citrix. First impressions are not positive though.

I've successfully installed Application/Loadbalancing Server on a 2008 R2 server and installed the client on my Win 7 PC.

I can log on to the 2X server via the client and see the 2 published apps I've setup (Calculator/Wordpad).

Neither will start on my desktop, flashing screen then nothing. The processes are running on the 2008 R2 server though.

On the 2008 R2 server I've spotted memshell.exe and given server\users full control over it.

Still no joy.

I'm looking for a remote solution for a customer and can't even get past local access without a lash-up!

I've got an RDP session open to the 2X server and that was causing an issue with starting apps from what I could see.

I've now enabled another domain user as a Remote Desktop User on the 2X server and logged on to the 2X client as them but still no applications start on the client desktop.

I've started over again and been able to start published apps from a domain PC so I'll close this thread now.
