I was worried about upgrading so prepared a new ".pvs" file but didn't need it. I brushed up on the Terminal mount and diskutil list commands.

My XP installation is relatively new so could have been rebuilt quickly. As a precaution after reading posts here I removed the password for the XP account so it would boot all the way to the windows desktop. I turned off bluetooth for the install so the MightyMouse wouldn't interfere. I changed it from booting into coherence mode to windowed mode.

The upgrade was not offered when selecting "check for updates" so manually downloaded the dmg. The installation went as it should with tools automatically updating and no problems were encountered. The built-in iSight still works when activating it under the Devices/USB menu.

MacBook Pro C2D Glossy 2.33 GHz 2 GB RAM, 160 GB HD with 45 GB partitioned for Boot Camp and the rest OS X.
