Hi All. I am running Windows 7 64 bit on my MacPro with Parallels 7 and I have a 3D Connexion SpacePilot which I am not able to have recognized by my 3D software. Can anyone tell me please what I am doing when I go to the Devices > USB and I see the device listed ("Spacepilot #7")? Apparently I can select it and unselect it which results in a checkmark being placed next to it? What does this do? Also, when I go to Devices > Configure I see that it is listed under USB Controller as "Spacepilot #7" and that there is a checkmark in a greyed out box called "Connected". I ran a driver from 3DX named "3DxSoftware64_v3-14-2_r1170.exe" and in the past I have gotten this to work. This is one of the last items on my Win7/Parallels transition and I'd dearly love to find a way to solve this. Also, apparently the "#7" is because I keep unplugging the USB? Is there a way to change this...? I've been working on this port to Parallels for the last year and a half so if there are any parallels techs that can help with this it would be great. TIA
looks like re-installing the driver has finally solved this problem. anyone happen to know if i can rename the name of the device anywhere? i assume this is not necessary but i'd be interested in knowing if this can be done. thanks.
