I just trying to get my first Windows program to run on my MacBook. I'm running windows XP and when I try to load my software package (a scrapbooking software) I get the following error: http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/6/7/567758a3-759e-473e-bf8f-52154438565a/dotnetfx.exe 4121:Error installing Microsoft(R) .NET Framework Someone please tell me what I'm supposed to do to fix this! I'm getting very frustrated.
Hello Lori Motl, This error occurs when at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer engine is not present on the target machine. This is a minimum requirement for the .NET 2.0 redistributable Please check more information: http://kb.acresso.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalID=Q112590 Here you may check system requirements: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa480241.aspx In case that does not help you please check solution: http://community.installshield.com/showthread.php?t=158895&page=2 Try to download and install Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package.
