6 Month Trial Activation

    Hello, I had a question regarding the six month subscription included with Parallels 9. Mine never activated so I'm just curious if I missed something obvious or sole activation link or email? Thanks.

    You have have to just re-open Parallels Access on your Mac. A complete "getting started" guide is available in http://kb.parallels.com/116770

    That didn't appear to work. I have a case open and it has been escalated to tier two support. Hopefully I can post back here later to help anyone else having the issue. Thanks.

    Same problem here. I installed the access app the day it was announced and immediately upgraded to Parallels Desktop 9 because of the six month complimentary subscription offer. No luck. Parallels stopped working two weeks after the initial install with no mention of a "free" subscription.

    I've sent two notes to support but have yet to hear from them.

    EDIT: I finally heard from them last night. Didn't do any good, but I deleted Access from both the iPad and the Mac, rebooted both machines, reinstalled the Mac client, started it up, then reinstalled the iPad client and started it up. Still no 6 month subscription.

    I let Parallels know that their fix failed and was told it was being bumped to second level support. However, I had to tell them the date and time of the purchase, as well as the email I used. Fortunately, I could get that info via PayPal.

    EDIT2: Issue resolved. I have two emails on file with them. I installed the 2 week trial under the old email (which is also my forum ID), and purchased the Desktop upgrade under my main email. Thus the 6 month extension was linked to my purchase email, not the old email. Once support pointed that out, I switched emails on both server and client and everything worked just fine.

    The joys of multiple emails.

    I am also having this same problem. My trial period just ended (it only gave me 2 weeks instead of 6 months). Can Parallels please help me get the 6 month trial? thanks.

    Hi timmo,

    Have you followed the base troubleshooting steps on the Parallels Access Support page and have both the client and agent synced on both the Mac and iPad? There are a number of reasons that the sync may not have occurred but all are easily fixed.

    Hi Chris - I don't have an issue with the sync. I have been using Parallels Access on my iPad for the past 2 weeks, but the free trial ended. I was supposed to get a 6 month trial. Any help? Can you link to a support article if that's how I need to get support to get the 6 months instead of 2 week trial?

    Help please

    I'm having the same issue.

    The common thread seems to be if you installed Access before buying the Desktop 9 and 6 month Access bundle. My 2 weeks have expired and so has my access. Even though I've since purchased and installed Desktop 9.

    Checked my email address and it is the same as I registered with on both the ipad and system. I've tried reinstalling both and looked at all the KB articles but there is nothing on this issue. They communicate fine, I just don't seem to have a subscription. How do I get my 6 month activation?

    Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Hello Marshall,

    My name is Sergey and I am a Parallels Team member.
    We checked your registration details and it looks like you have not yet registered your copy of Parallels Desktop 9.

    So what you want to do is:
    1. Install Parallels Desktop 9, register and activate it http://kb.parallels.com/en/117124 http://kb.parallels.com/en/116850
    2. Check the subscription status on the iPad (Parallels Access) http://kb.parallels.com/116794

    If for some reason it still does not work :
    1. Log out from Parallels Access on both your Mac and iPad
    2. Reboot your Mac
    3. Login to your Account on Parallels Access on both your Mac and iPad http://kb.parallels.com/en/116770

    I installed trail 11.5.30 version on the ubuntu. instalition successful but when I want to entry licanse key the program give to exception to me (Warning: The product cannot operate yet because there is no license installed. Would you like to evaluate the product for free using a 14-day full-featured trial license)

    what should i do?
