Has anyone been able to get this to work? It seems to be a better Java version than before as there seems to be very little user intervention that's required in order to use the client. I just have hard time getting clients to use a default configuration file loaded from the server. Anyone have luck doing this in the beta version or any version for that matter?
OK, here's a weird update. I was able to set the default client settings by changing a few parameters in the settings.xml file. Apparently, this only works by having the UseServerSettings=True and DisableSettings=False. So, I had a test user login to the Java client and they were able to bring up their published apps. Now when they launch an app they get this error: As part of troubleshooting this error, I decided to run IE as Administrator. Sure enough, the application launched! So now my dillema is, can I use the Java client without having to run the browser as an administrator? If this Java client worked right, I should be able to use this at any hotel internet kiosk. Unfortunately, I can't hand this off to my customer and tell them to go ahead and use it.
