Acces apps with ms ts client

Can i acces a published application on 2x server with only the ms rdp client?

Accessing published applications is possible through the HTML5Gateway as per http://www.2x.com/applicationserver/html5/

 

Published applications can be accessed only with a 2X Client, so any 2X Client (HTML5, Java, ...) can be used. Is there any reason why you need to specifically use the MS RDP client?
