Presently I have a Remote Desktop Server running Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64), and a Windows 2003 Server (x86) in Terminal Server mode and running version 8.0 of 2X Application Server. I have migrated my users to the new 2008 R2 Server. But I recently learned that an Outlook plugin (using Office 2007) is not compatible under the new configuration. Is the latest x64 2X client compatible with Server 2008 R2? I am looking to create a shortcut for Outlook to the original 2003 Terminal Server. I want to place this shortcut on the desktop of the users that need this plugin. So, these users would be running Outlook from the Windows 2003 Server in place of the new 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Server. Thanks David Waugh
if by latest you mean the v10.5 client, it can connect to installations running 2008R2. That said, it most probably fully works with v10 installations of ASXG Id assume.
