    Hey guys!

I'm having problems accessing my Mac shared folders (network drives Z: and Y:) from within Windows 7 guest OS while running applications with elevated privileges (Run as administrator). This is because the User Access Control in Windows 7/Vista doesn't share network mappings between the normal user and the administrator.

I've tried both disabling UAC and modifying the registry according to Microsoft's recommendations here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937624 but the problem remains. The easiest way to test it is to type "Z:" from a command prompt. This will cause an error if the command prompt was started with Run as administrator.

Does anyone else experience this problem?

    Thanks!

    p.s. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (Swedish) 64-bit and Parllels Desktop 8 (build 8.0.18003).

    Work Around

There is a work around. Try something like \\psf\Home when you need to access to the Shared Folders.
