    Hi,

I have an imac connect to a windows domain. I appear to be bound to the domain with no issues, have access to the exchange server etc. The issue I have is related access to our local intranet, in that I cannot access all the sites. The sites always seem to stop with Conversion from type 'DBNull' to type 'String' is not valid. errors from the web server or Safari cant open the page http://10.128.16.199/governance/DIF1_coverpage/dif1_coverpage.htm because the server unexpectedly dropped errors

The DBNull errors appear to come from sites that start with 192.160. IP addresses and the dropped connection errors from sites which start with 10. Ip addresses.

I had a copy of windows in a parallels virtual machine which appeared to work ok, now this has started generating the same errors. I'm guessing its something to do with my network connection but dont know where to start. I've tried both bridged and shared networking to no avail. I have always had trouble logging into the windows domain with this virtual machine and get the error "domain controller not available" even though everything is working ok. Swapping between bridged and shared networking appears to get around this issue for the login I'm trying to do but only for a couple of user accounts I have.

    Best Wishes
    Craig

    Any ideas?
