    hi there

so, i got a copy of parallels 3, didnt activate it yet.
i plan to buy a new macbook pro as soon as a new model/revision comes out, and use the parallels app to run windows as well.

thing is, i already own an MBP with bootcamp on it.
when i install parallels on this machine and activate it properly, can i still activate parallels with the new MBP, or will the serialnumber be tied to that one system it first got activated?

can i activate parallels on my current MBP, and activate it later on the new MBP as well?

thanks a lot, didnt found anything in the FAQ thou

You buy one licence for one com. You can activate parallels. When you sell your macbook pro , you can activate it as well on the new one.

    isnt this an contradiction?
so, as far as i've read on another forum (macuser.de) i can technically activate it on the current and the "soon-to-have" macbookpro, but it would be against the license agreement.
    is that right?

anyway, thanks a lot, i think i'll just install it on my current macbookpro. if it doesnt work with the new one, well i'll give parallels a call, so they can deactivate my old serial :)

    thanks a lot
