I'm new to the VM world and don;t know about Windows activation. Bought the MBP new with Parallels and Vista installed but I wanted Boot Camp so I uninstalled Parallels and installed boot camp partition and went from there. I reinstalled parallels a few weeks back. Today I went into Boot Camp and noticed that it had not Activated so I tried to do it. No luck it says that the key is already in use. So I got into Parallels and it says the same thing. So I call and get MS to activate while im on Parallels, everything good there. I go to boot camp and not activated, so do I call and have them activate it and enter the info while in Boot Camp? will this deactivate the Parallels version? If there is a better way please point me to the thread, I'm okay with reinstall too as I have not used the partition too much. thanks
Well I went and activated the Boot Camp installation and now i cant even log into Parallels Vista. I really am getting annoyed with this whole process, and throw in SP1 and any help would be appreciated...
