I have both XP and Vista running on Parallels 3.0 without any problems. After installing each I have 2 aliases on the desktop, one for each OS. The problem is I can't get either alias to appear in the dock when they are not running. I would like to drag & drop (or something) to get the 2 icons to appear in the dock, so I can click on them and have the guest OS launch. I can put other aliases on the dock, and I've tried creating new aliases for each guest OS and they behave the same way.

    Have you tried this?

While the VM is running and appearing in the Dock, right click on the Dock icon and check "keep in dock".

I have the option to remove it from the dock, but not to keep it. I can drag and drop other aliases and th eicons stay in the dock, but the Parallels do not. Could that be because they are aliases for documents and not apps?
