I'm trying to install some software that checks the processor type during install. I believe they do this to ensure people don't install 32-bit on 64-bit and vice versa. But, the software seems to block anything that is not reported explicitly as 64-bit x86. Because Parallels reports the Processor for the device as Apple Silicon, the install process fails. Is there a way to have Parallels report the processor as something else? Is this something I can adjust in a manifest file or something so that Parallels sets the device specifications to something this software will allow? So far, working with the vendor, hasn't worked out.
