Is there any way to adjust the time-out when re-connecting to a VDI session? Resuming from saved state may take as long as 30 seconds for VMs with 4GBs of RAM, and the client times out with Code [02/00000005] A specific machine was not found before the VM is ready. Any solution apart from running everything off striped SSDs?
Yes you can do the following on the client: 1. Click on Connection properties from the toolbar 2. Go to Advanced settings tab 3. Click on Connection Advanced Settings button 4. Change any timeouts you require As always please leave a not if you solve your issue cheers
Unfortunately that does not seem to help. Even when time-out is set to 60 seconds the client returns Code [02/00000005] A specific machine was not found after about 15-20 seconds. On the next connection attempt it works fine, as the VM has now booted up. Any hard limits set here, either in the client or on the server side?
