I am about to purchase a new M1 Mac, and intend to upgrade to Parallels 17 and Windows 11. I presently am using a 3 year old MacBook Pro, with Parallels 11 or so. My question: Am I better to wait until I have the new laptop and then install fresh on that, or do the P17 and Windows upgrades on my existing, and then using the Mac Migration Assistant take everything over at once? Or does it even matter in any way at all. Thanks.
Hello, it is easier to install Windows 11 directly to Mac M1 machine as Parallels Desktop latest comes up with a new feature where you will get an option to install Windows 11 directly. Thanks, Parallels Team.
