Aero in Vista

    From the dumb question department....

    With the release of 3810 and the addition of DirectX 9 Shader Model 2 support, does this mean that we can now run Aero on Vista?

    No it doesn't. Vista insist on having DirectX 10 to enable Aero. Wow they need DirectX just for *that*?!

    No, it doesn't require Direct X 10. It requires a WDDM compatible display driver.
