After the crash, where are my apps?

My XP crashed this morning, only to go through an infinite startup loop, regardless of how I tried to get it going. So I decided to install another version of XP.

I have two apps, SAS and Sigmaplot, that I need to use (far from home, no install disks), that were running on the now crippled version of XP. How can I find them and use them with my new XP? Searching for them on my HD has been to no avail.

    Thanks a million!

First, you cannot transport an installed application from one Windows installation to another, no matter if it is a virtual machine or a regular PC. During the application setup installer makes required records in Windows registry, system folders and things like that, you can move the program folder itself but it will hardly work on another Windows installation.

Second, if you could place here the screenshot of BSOD you receive (blue screen of death) and a description of what happened (as you think or the sequence of actions that might lead to crashing) probably we could restore the corrupted virtual machine.
