With Parallels installed I get a strange issue when my MacBook Pro comes back from sleep. Often the Airport icon in the menubar appears as the internet connection sharing icon. Often it goes away and I get my connection back within 5-10 second. However, sometimes I have to shut down the Airport adapter and start is back up to get it to work and sometimes I even have to reboot. I am using bridged ethernet for my connection. Here's an image of what the airport icon looks like (second from left). Any ideas?
