I accidentally deleted my Documents folder, which contained my Parallels .hdd and .pvs files. I've been searching Google for a data recovery program and tried two so far. Neither of them were able to recognise those file types among the recovered data.

Does anyone know of a recovery program capable of retrieving .hdd files?

They were only deleted the day before I posted this message and I've barely used my Mac for fear of overwriting the data.

    Thanks for reading...

The first thing to do is stop using your Mac at all.

You might try asking your question in one of the Apple discussion forums at <http://discussions.apple.com/index.jspa> or on Mac-L <http://listmoms.net/lists/#mac-l>.
