    Hi,

I realise this is a long shot!

Is there any way to intercept a mailto and pass it to the guest O/S?

The reason I want this is that I use XP for my email, as I get so much spam and the only good anti-spam program I have found (cloudmark) only runs on Windows.

So if I click a mailto in OS X it would be great if it opened outlook rather than Mac Mail.

In fact, the opposite would be nice too, an http link in an email in Windows opening a Safari browser session would be Awesome!

    Any thoughts?

I use google mail also as POP mail
which has awsome spam filters too

I can use it on both VM and Mac
so my mailto: calls the same mailbox in either place

I have seven mailboxes on AOL and keep them for specific tasks, eg family and private or a specific research project, so get very litttle spam
My gmail address has been public since the start so it gets lots of spam

I keep my email off my ISP so i can travel or get the best connection to markets price
