I've created a Vista VM to see if I can do video chats with another Vista user. Vista AIM can't chat to AIM or iChat on the Mac since there are some new video codecs in use. I don't know if the problem I'm having is with AIM, Vista, or Parallels. My iSight camera isn't seen by Parallels, so I hooked up an external webcam. There were some very old threads on the iSight issue. Have they been resolved? When I start a chat I see my camera image for a split second and then the connection drops. Other times I can hear the other person, but neither can see each other. Has anyone managed to get AIM to work in Vista in Parallels?
