    Hi all,

At my company we're testing to see if 2x is a tool that we can deploy and were have a couple of problems.

First problem is that if we are in a server (Windows 2008 R2) without domain (in a workgroup) if I try to filter the user application does not work. Always I have to uncheck the option to allow users below.

The second problem is that when I have a domain and publish an application, everything works fine. The application opens correctly, but when I go to the user and modify something in the Session tab, the application does not re-launched with that user. The connection is created successfully and memshell.exe runs, but does not open the application. If I create another user and give permissions for that application, then it works fine but only for that user.

    In summary:

We create user1 and give the application permission to AAA. Everything works fine.

Modify any value in the Session tab. We tried to enter the published application and does not work (TS is created and memshell is running for user1).

We create user2 and give the application permission to AAA. Everything works fine with that user.

    Someone knows what is that?............

Re: Application doesn't launch after modify value in session

for the memshell error maybe u better upgrade to the beta asxg 10.1.1232 from www.2x.com/downloads, i'm sure u'll be fine.

for the filtering thing i am a bit puzzled:
    - if you go to connection>2x pa> what do u have selected here on this tab?
    - the fact that u are using a workgroup obviously comes with downsizes, but the filtering shoud still work.. u are not using ldap i hope right?

    Hi Ginex,

I will try with the new beta.

    Yes, I don't use ldap.

In connection, PA tab, it's checked "Always required user credentials..." and selected "All trusted domains", but if I select "Domain" and press Default (in the textbox shows "WORKGROUP\COMPUTERNAME") it still will not work.

    Thanks for your reply.
    Cristóbal.
