We have been having a problem with one of our terminal servers the end user logs on through web portal and see's the applications that have been published for them. However, when they try to launch the application the 2X client does not launch. I can immediately logon with the account via terminal services and see the applications have been launched as normal. This problem started a few days ago just on a single Terminal Server. We have several other terminal servers that publish applications and they do not appear to have this issue. I thought maybe something could be wrong with the 2X client software on the end users workstation so uninstalled/reinstalled the client software. Without affecting the issue. I tested the same user account from a known good workstation and saw the same behavior, so I turned my attention to the terminal server. I uninstalled the 2X agent on the terminal server and reinstalled it and that seemed to function for a few days. This morning the user called back in with the same issue. Any ideas what is causing this issue or how I might go about resolving it? Thanks in advance.
Hi there, you might consider to open a support ticket with 2x sending an email to support@2x.com. We'll provide instructions how to gather the 2xServer support files which might give us a hint. You might try to delete this user account and set it up from scretch. Kind regards,
