2x Application Server V8 (last build) on Windows 2008R2

Terminal Server 1 (same as above)
    Terminal Server 2 (2003 R2 machine)

When I try to publish Internet explorer i set :

    path : %programfiles%\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

%programfiles% in run on the Win2008 R2 result into the correct folder (not the x64).

I push apply an everything stays fine.
I push ok to close the console and then open it again and the path is changed to 'program files x64' folder....
Even when choose publish from TS2 ...

Any ideas, as i'm gonna present and defend 2x in two days against Citrix...so far i'm loosing :)

    thx

Nope... unfortunately it's one of the 'gotchas' we are currently fighting with as well. The only solution (we've found), is to publish the app onto your 64bit servers, and publish it (as another app) onto your 32 bit servers - ie, you need to have 2 different silos... sigh.

Something I've done is not to publish IE exactly; however, to publish the Company Intranet page instead. It's the page IE would open by default due to out policies anyway.

    Hi ,

If you have an app that runs from different paths this is how it should be done.

    1) In the Application settings select the server from the list of servers this shall be published from.

    2) Find the executable and just let 2x do the trick.

    Hope this helps.

    (my version is 8.1.870)
