Since the Application Stack feature doesn't support passing commandline options in any of the links it contains I have tried several things to work around this annoying lack of functionality.

    1. Write .vbs and .js scripts, make shortcuts on start menu - THEY DON'T SHOW in the Application stack.... ARGH!
    2. Write .cmd files and add shortcuts to the start menu. Again they don't show.
    3. Hacking the package contents of the OSX helper apps that Parallels creates (show contents, edit info.plist to include the comandline arguments... doesn't work. Even if enclosed in double quotes.

The only way I can work around this is to write Windows apps specific for launching an application with a commandline and a working directory or it won't work.

    Why is this so frustrating?

    1. I can't choose a default view to open Windows Explorer. I have to navigate all over the place.
    2. I can't put a link to open the Control Panel on the Stack. I can just run CONTROL.EXE, but try it and watch how long it takes to close the parent EXPLORER.EXE when you quit.
    3. I have several programs that require a specific working directory. If I launch them from the stack - they fail.
    4. The same is true for apps that require a specific commandline.

I really, really, really like the idea of the Application Stack. The inability to pass commandlines and working dirs make it mostly something that I can't use. I can't customize it any differently than the Windows start menu so I have a bunch of broken or partially functional links.

    PLEASE fix this!
