I'm using an application with streamed data. The application constantly hangs or freezes. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

I'm using Parallels 3.0 for Mac; build 5160. Host OS is Mac OSX Version 10.5.6; with 2GB Memory. Guest OS is Windows XP SP2 with 28.2 GB free space. I'm running TD Waterhouse Webroker/Select program which provides streamed market data. I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you need anything else.
