I recently had to archive and reinstall Tiger due to using that monolingual freeware. Now Parallels is completely messed up. 1. Attention! The configuration file /Library/Parallels/.dhcpd_configuration was not found... message pops up on startup. 2. Click Ok to error message and I get to the window to start up the virtual machines but now I need to re-enter my license. 3. I do and it gives me another eroor message that the license is Valid, but cannot save to file /Library/Parallels/.parallels_license_2.2. Please make sure you have proper permissions... I'm using Parallels for Mac Build 1862 (August 7, 20006) on a 1st gen MacBook with 1gb of ram. I have law exams in 1 week and need my XP (I know). Please help. -Adam
Update I installed the new 3036 Update and everything installs fine yet it is still the original version when I open Parallels, weird. I can't delete Parallels, Appzapp-it, or anything. I am ripping my hair out in frustration. Thanks
Solved Friend of mine came over and fixed it. Using the uninstall that comes with the new Parallels build and installing it. It worked after 3 or 4 times. Problem solved.
