Hi - Novice as far as troubleshooting technical problems here. I have a new Macbook Pro with 4 gigs of memory installed. I installed windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit on a bootcamp partition and installed Parallels Desktop 4.0 and created a VM targeting the bootcamp windows ( I think....help me if I'm describing this incorrectly) I can run windows in Bootcamp AND through Parallels. Up to this point everything seemed to work ok, and with no serious decrease in perfomance. Next I installed AutoCad 2009 and the performance of that software is horrible. it barely functions. It takes a while to load up and often is "Not Responding". When it does respond, every action takes a really long time, menu bars flicker on and off when the cursor is moved, etc. It seems like a memory issue, but maybe I installed it incorrectly? I just have no idea. I was also going to upgrade to Parallels 5.0, to see if that helps but am afraid that might complicate matters. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks-
