I'm new to MAC's and Parallels in particular. Needed to run some legacy Win32 apps, hence Parallels which I've found to be excellent (XP SP3) particularly a good experience in "coherence" mode. I've always run AV software on Win32 systems, my interest is in understanding what sort of issues may exist between the XP environment in Parallels and my MAC FS given I'm effectively sharing them ie dragging files out of XP and onto my MAC desktop etc. Would a virus contamination have an effect on the MAC system, or would it be contained in the XP VM?
