I wanted to look for a solution that would allow me to backup the files within certain folders in the Windows VM to my Mac. Since the Windows drives show up on the Mac desktop and I can explore the folders I thought this might be possible. However the tool I use on the Mac (Synchronize Pro) for this purpose gives errors on a number of the files (errors are roughly "unexpected end of file"). I also tried running SyncToys (from Microsoft) in Windows to backup the files to a folder on the Mac side. However this would only backup the first file in the folder (no error message, it acts like it works).

Is there a way to do this? I ideally want something that would run several times a day when the VM is running. I do not want to backup the files to a cloud service.

    Thanks!
