Hi there, on a Windows 2003 Server, accessed via Remotedesktop, the playback of a video-file (mpeg) results in a surging video with an immense audio delay. In fact: unusable. Now I tried the same with 2x AppServer (Windows-Version) and get the same results. I thought the 2x AppServer should enhance the performance of an remote session??? Do I have a configuration-problem? What should/can I do to enhance the quality of multimedia-plaback? Big thanks!
Terminal servers are terrible for multimedia playback. Audio it can handle, but video will always be choppy. The best you can do is to lower your colour settings, connect through direct mode, or change the video format to swf if you can.
