    Hey there,

I'm using Parallels for some time now, but since the last update I experience a problem: Outputting to the beamer in our classrooms doesn't work anymore. The beamer just flashes shortly and after that goes back to displaying nothing.

This has worked before so it is not because of my MBP.

The tech-guy at the university told me that he experienced this to be about a "wide-screen"-setting somewhere in the Parallels settings (probably inside the guest-OS). But he couldn't tell me where to find it.

So what can I do about this? Where can I find this specific setting?

Yeah, it's probably the screen res setting. Make sure it uses the proper aspect ratio of 4:3 or 16:9 depending upon what you need.

Yeah well, but where do I find these settings. In the Windows-screen-properties there is nothing like that!

Go to Start-> Control Panel -> Display -> Screen Resolution

Try to set correct resolution inside guest OS. I suppose, that you are trying to set resolution that beamer do not support.
