I just installed Paralellels desktop and checked some box that I probably shouldn't have checked. When I create a shortcut on the guest desktop it creates a shortcut on the host desktop and vice versa. Also, I deleated the shortcut on the host desktop that lets me get right to the Windows desktop without all the delay of going throught the dock. Can someone please, please tell me how to 1. turn off the option of creating what is on the desktop of guest to the host and vice versa and 2. how to recreate the short cut to parallels desktop that used to live on the desktop of my mac (before I accidently trashed it on the "guest" computer without knowing it. Ok, got the desktop file sharing problem fixed. Can anyone tell me how to get the shortcut back on my mac desktop for the parallels program. When you click on the desktop icon (not the one on the dock), it opens the program right away. Thanks, Anne
