Belkin YourType Wireless Keypad produces cursor movement instead of inputting numbers

I'm running Win 8.1 in a Parallels VM configured for productivity. I purchased a Belkin YourType Bluetooth Wireless Keypad to input numbers easier. When I use Numbers in OS X, the keypad works fine and inputs numbers in the spreadsheet cells. But when I use Excel in Win 8.1, the keys on the keypad move the cursor to other cells instead of inputting numbers in a cell. Is there a way to configure it to input numbers?
