I am running Parallels 7 on my Macbook (2.6Ghz Core i7 / 8gb ram) with Windows 7. I use Bentley PowerDraft v8i for CAD work. This configuration has worked fine for a couple of years but over the last 6 months has slowed down considerably. Parallels takes around 10 minutes to start and is very glitchy while up and running. I'm tempted to think that an upgrade is needed but I am reluctant to shell out the cash before knowing that an improvement will be made. Any advice will be very appreciated!
