Hi - When I've finished a session is the best practice to shutdown? I see there's a suspend option which if it's faster I'd rather use- is that the equivalent of hibernate?. I still use windows for a number of day to day tasks - adobe cs3 in particular - and I'm not going to give them lots of money for the luxury of running it natively on my new computer. Thanks, Richard
This is fine to suspend the virtual machine when you are working on your Mac, however, when you are going to shut down Mac completely, I would still suggest to shut down virtual machine prior to that. Parallels would be able to resume if Mac is being shut down while virtual machine is suspended, but shutting down Parallels is still recommended before turning the Mac off, same as with any other application.
