Beta 6 Compression renders VM unusable

First, sorry for posting this in this forum thread, I can't seem to locate the Desktop 6 Beta forum.

While using the Beta 6, with a Windows 7 image the compression reached 100% but then stays there in an infinite loop.

I have successfully used the compress feature before (probably 5 or 6 times), all previous attempts had the progress slowly climbing up to 100%, then a 30-seconds or so and the image was booting fine. This last attempt went thru a similar process except now it is showing 100% and just keeps spinning there doing what seems to me as nothing.

After 30 minutes hanging there, I closed Parallels, rebooted my Mac and attempted to re-launch Parallels with the VM; the result is it went back into "Compress" mode, quickly went back up to 100% and still hangs at the spinning with 100% showing up. Clicking "Cancel" does nothing.

Is there any way to force Parallels out of the "Compress" mode back to normal operation?
