I searched the forums and didn't see a post on this, sorry if it is a dupe.
    MacBook C2D 2.0 - white one.

When I installed the Parallels beta2, my Ubuntu Edgy VM resolution went from 1280x800 to 1024x768. I checked the properties sheet under video and it still lists three resolutions I put in there:
1280x800, 1024x768 and 800x600. I did notice that the 1024x768 was now above the 1280x800, so I removed them and re-added them. After starting and stopping the Edgy VM they were changed back again. I assume Parallels places them in the order of last used or something.

Also I rechecked my /etc/X11/xorg.conf file and the three resolutions mentioned above are in there like they are suppose to be.

To try to clearly state the problem:
I was running the beta 3036 and the VM screen resolution was 1280x800. After installing beta2 3094 the resolution changed to 1024x768. The option to change the resolution in Ubuntu doesn't even list 1280x800 as 1024x768 is the highest resolution listed there.

I have the "switch to full screen automatically" option checked and the black Ubuntu boot up screen appears normal looking though its' resolution is probably not 1280x800.

Also under beta 3036 if I increase the RAM for the VM, the VM won't boot completely, but that is another issue.
