Big screen res makes an application switch to Window mode

I have tested this on 2 different Windows XP Pcs.

1st - A 19" monitor 1280 x 1024 (works fine)

2nd - A 24" monitor 1920 x 1200

On the 2nd PC I get the message

Application server client does not support screen resolution larger more than 1600 x 1200 pixels, switching to window mode

As the desired mode is to just launch the application rather than a full screen desktop view, is it possible to force the application to just launch without it being swtiched to window mode? Window mode makes it quite untidy and difficult for the user to work with.

This is quite a crucial issue as it could depend on whether we go with 2x for our application delivery service we're launching next year.
