Black screen issue for windows10 vertual machine after updating PD

Hello fellow guys. I just got a prompt asking me to update parallels desktop to the latest version when I started it today and I clicked it without any hesitation. But the windows 10 just got black screen when I tried to access it after the upadating of parallels desktop completes. It warned me the parallels tools is beening installed when I was trying to restart my windows10 to fix the black screen issue. So I decide to wait but the problem exsists after I have waited for over an hour. I think there must be something wrong. Please help me with it. I need to access my windows 10 to work. Thanks.

 

Can you still see the menu bar? Then choose to install Parallels Tools again.

 

Hey it's resolved. I just shutdown and started the machine and I can access it now. Thanks for your advice though.
