    Hello!

I recently started using Parallels on a Macbook Pro (4GB) to run my Vista x64 partition inside of OS X. It works very well except for one not so small issue. The VM tends to "hang" in a very odd way, which I'm hoping someone has seen before and been able to fix. The symptom is a seemingly random lack of UI responsiveness that I've never seen in straight Windows. Basically what happens is applications will become unresponsive and as I try to close them, some will close, but after a few moments responsiveness just stops. There's no blue screen and if I try to send a CTRL+ALT+DEL via the Virtual Machine menu send keys, I can switch to the Windows screen that lets you switch users, start task managers, etc. I can try to start task manager but it wont really draw a window, and I can try to log off but it never works. In the end I have to stop the VM and restart. Some days this wont happen at all. Other days it happens two or three times. The most unusual thing about my system config is I use a USB ActiveClient (attached to VM) smart card reader to get into a citrix server, as most of my work takes place through Citrix. My open apps include lotus notes, IE7 now IE8, Excel, Access and Citrix sessions.

As for how I setup my Boot Camp, I had that installed and patched to SP1 before I setup the partition with Parallels, and it is Vista x64.

Any ideas what I can do clear this issue?
