Upgrading my snow leopard mac pro running Windows XP in a bootcamp partition from parallels 4 -> 5 fails. I get the BSOD. Set at 1 processor before and after upgrade.

Uninstall/reinstall parallels 5 doesn't help. Still won't boot Windows XP.
    Booting into Bootcamp works OK.
Uninstalling Parallels 5 and reinstalling parallels 4 works OK.

Here's my Parallels Log in case anyone can tell me why parallels 5 won't boot Windows XP in this configuration.

    Thanks, Ken

    Same issue

I'm having the exact same issue. It looks like an IRQ to a device driver fails and the BSOD happens.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

BSOD on Bootcamp after Ugrade Paralles 4 > 5

I'm also having a BSOD problem on my bootcamp partition... I've attached the actual BSOD. I can boot fine in bootcamp.

I have had the same problem - supposidly technical support is looking at my problem. They have taken my reports. I can create a new VM and it works but when I use BOOT CAMP it crashes. I don't want to use another VM.
