Hello. I keep Windows on 1 Partition, and Windows programs on another (to keep the bootcamp partition size down.) However these program links are broken under Parallels as the external drive gets mapped to a different letter. I'm sure this has been covered before but I can't seem to find the knowledge base article.

I searched thru it pretty good as Parallels Custom Setup didn't like having more than 1 windows partition in the first place, and I had to find a way around that. But I can't find this issue. Any links or any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Any ideas? PVS file editing maybe? Is there a way to specify what letter a drive maps to?

    Hello Jdriver,

Please sorry for loosing sight of this thread.
If I have understood your request correctly, you can do the following:

In your VM Configuration Editor open Shared Folders section and disable all automatic options for sharing Mac folders to Windows. Use "User-defined folders" option only and share the drives you need. You will see on Windows side the letters that you will define when sharing the drives.

    Best regards,
    Xenos
