Boxed Copy

Hi,

First of all, my apologies if this has been covered already, I did do a search.

Anyway, when I bought my iMac last month I ordered the boxed copy of Parallels. My problems started when I downloaded the latest version and it asked me for an activation code. I had thrown the box and packaging and only kept the install disk, although I don’t remember seeing a serial number there anyway.

But as I’d registered it on the Parallels web-site I thought it would been a simple matter to e-mail Support for a copy of the code (my apologies to anyone who started laughing so hard at that they fell off of their chair!).

When I try to reinstall the boxed-version it asked for an activation code as well.

Is there anything that can be done, or did I just throw my money away?
